The 'Z11's 1080p HDMI connections let you switch easily among five digital video sources, like a high-definition satellite receiver, high-def game consoles, and HD DVD or Blu-ray disc players, while maintaining pristine digital picture and sound quality. Two HDMI outputs add to the convenience for systems that feature more than one HDTV or projector. There's even a handy front-panel HDMI input that makes it a snap to plug in your high-def camcorder or compatible digital camera to view home movies and photos.

Analog-to-HDMI conversion lets you send all your non-digital video sources to a compatible television via a single HDMI cable. This receiver can also upgrade any non-HD video source to an HDMI digital signal with up to 1080p resolution, to more closely match the capabilities of your HDTV. A top-notch Anchor Bay ABT1018 video processor with a proprietary 10-bit Precision Video Scaling Engine™ provides exceptional detail and smoother playback.

Network connectivity and HD Radio
You get plenty of digital music options, too. Connect the RX-Z11 to a PC network and access music files stored on your computers. View track titles on your TV and select the tunes you want to hear using the receiver's remote. You can also listen to Internet Radio stations via your broadband connection. The built-in HD Radio tuner lets you listen to the free, over-the-air digital programming that many AM and FM stations now broadcast.
