Plus, this receiver can upconvert any non-HD source to a digital video signal with up to 1080p resolution, letting you enjoy maximum picture quality on your HDTV with standard-definition DVDs and older video sources.

Precision auto setup tailors sound to your room
The 'SR806 includes Audyssey MultEQ, a sophisticated speaker calibration system that helps you get the most accurate home theater sound possible. This receiver uses the included microphone to analyze sound from up to six different listening positions, then automatically adjusts level, equalization, and delay settings for each of your speakers. You get precise response across a wide listening area instead of just a single "sweet spot," so everyone in the room can enjoy perfect home theater sound.

Two-room audio and more
This receiver's two-room/two-source audio output lets you enjoy surround sound in your main room while a housemate listens to a different stereo music source in a second room. A handy learning/multibrand remote makes it easy to control all of the components in your system. You can integrate your iPod® by adding Onkyo's handy control dock. The 'SR806 is also XM Ready, just add an XM Mini-Tuner and Home Dock. Or connect an optional SiriusConnect™ home tuner kit to enjoy SIRIUS satellite programming.
