HDMI 1.3 supports 30-bit, 36-bit and 48-bit (RGB or YCbCr) colour depths. Previous versions of the HDMI specification only supported 24-bit colour depth. Eliminates on-screen colour banding, for smooth tonal transitions and subtle gradations between colors

Enables increased contrast ratio
Can represent many times more shades of gray between black and white. At 30-bit pixel depth, four times more shades of gray would be the minimum, and the typical improvement would be eight times or more.

Brighter than ever with anti-reflection
The Super Bright Panel realizes top class contrast ratio of 30,000:1 and provides clarity and brightness while eliminating optical glare with minimal light reflection. By adding cobalt blue colorant to the previous panels of achromatic color, it can project colors naturally without white balance and provide vivid images even in a bright environment without reflection.

Easy UI
The new User Friendly Interface is an upgraded, intuitive and friendly menu system, laying the icons out in a grid system. Sometimes when watching films it is difficult to hear human voices over the background sounds of their environment, due to the down-mixing that occurs to push 5.1 surround-sound through a TV's 2 channel speaker system. The Clear Voice feature alters the sound balance to emphasize human voices and reduce the background noise. All input source (RF/AV/Component/HDMI) as well as Stereo and Mono broadcast can be controlled by Clear Voice.
